2016 Employer's Guide to Employee Voting Rights is here!

For better or worse, it won't be much longer before the 2016 election is over. In honor (?) of the occasion, we've updated our Employer's Guide to Employee Voting Rights, and it's available now on our website -- both in html and as a (free) downloadable and printable pdf.I Voted.flickrCC.BrettNeilson

The Guide covers time-off-for-voting laws, employer rights, and employees' rights (if any) against coercion or pressure from employers to support a given political position or candidate, for all 50 states. As a bonus, we threw in a summary of Canadian federal law.

As if that were not spectacular enough, the Guide also includes an abbreviated version of my recent blog post on employer do's and don'ts for handling politics in the workplace (NLRB-friendly version).

You may not be thrilled about the candidates this time, but our Guide will amaze and astound you!
